Event Details

At Changin Da’ Game we want to help you improve your basketball skills with Jalen Bridges of West Virginia University Men’s Basketball and Zyon Dobbs of Fairmont State University Men’s Basketball. This basketball camp will be held at the Fairmont Senior Field House on August 28th-29th. This event is open to players of every skill set. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and basketball. So come join us and let’s also celebrate this basketball reunion of the former Fairmont Senior Basketball Legends. Jalen Bridges

Jalen Bridges played basketball for Fairmont Senior High School in Fairmont WV. He helped his team win back-to-back Class AA state titles in his first two years. As a senior, he averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 blocks, leading his team to its fourth straight state title game. He won the Bill Evans Award as the top high school player in the state of West Virginia. A consensus four-star recruit, he committed to playing college basketball for West Virginia. After initially planning to play a postgrad season, Bridges joined West Virginia for his first season as a redshirt. On March 4, 2021, he recorded freshman season-highs of 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 76–67 win over TCU. As a freshman, Bridges averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, earning Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors.

Zyon Dobbs

Zyon starred at Fairmont Senior HS and for WV Impact Elite on the AAU circuit. Three-time Class AA First Team All-State selection at Fairmont. Averaged 16.8 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals while running the FSHS offense as a senior. Tallied more than 1,000 points and 500 assists in his decorated prep career Led FSHS to a pair of state titles and two additional appearances in the title game. Named the top prospect in West Virginia entering his junior season. Dobbs transferred to Fairmont State after playing one season at Division I James Madison University. He played in 21 games as a sophomore at FSU, totaling 507 minutes, 224 points, 106 rebounds, 47 assists and 19 steals during the season. Zyon scored 20 points pulled down twelve rebounds and had five assists against Alderson Broaddus on February 1, 2021. He also scored a career-high 21 points to go with six rebounds and 2 steals against Notre Dame of Ohio February 17, 2021.
